Note: For In-Wall speakers, 16AWG cable is generally sufficient as they seldom carry much power. For longer distances and premium quality In-Wall speakers 14AWG cable is recommended. For most home theater applications, 14AWG cable is adequate for 100 watt or less signals not traveling long distances. For high-power dynamic sound systems, 12AWG cable is a sensible upgrade. |
